.
I have a relaxed approach to any shoot, be it a wedding, a studio session or an event on location, preferring to wait for the magic of the moment to reveal itself, rather than forcing my will on it.

The catch phrase used by many wedding photographers nowadays seems to be "photojournalistic" when describing their style of photography. I prefer not to  limited myself to any style, when working for a client. I always capture the candid, spontaneous moments of the day as my ultimate goal for a wedding but also pose my subjects, where it is appropriate or requested.

I like natural light (who doesn't?) but won't hesitate to use my strobes, off camera or on, where necessary. You will find vivid colours as well as subdued sepia tones and moody monotones in my processed images. I guess you could say that my style is as varied as the needs of my clients.

I use only Nikon professional cameras, lenses and flashes on all my shoots, including the following core items:

Nikon D3s main body
Nikon D700 backup body
Nikon 85mm f/1.4 prime portrait lens
Nikon 17 - 35mm f/2.8 wide angle zoom
Nikon 24 - 70mm f/2.8 midrange zoom
Nikon 70 - 200mm f/2.8 VRII tele zoom
Nikon 55mm macro prime
Nikon 16mm fisheye prime
Nikon SB800 flash
Nikon SB900 flash

I also have a range of studio lighting equipment that I occasionally use on location, including Elinchrom BX500Ri studio strobes and a range of umbrellas, softboxes, reflectors and other light-shaping tools
